I Wish George Jones Would Listen to My Songs
(C) 2008
I was reviewing some of my original work one evening, and thought that although they weren't all golden, a few just might catch on if only the right person heard them and gave them a fighting chance. Then it occurred to me that if George Jones heard them, he had the clout to get them recorded. I thought, "I wish George Jones Would Listen to My Songs" and this song was born!
Not available on an album at this time, but we're not done yet!
I Don't Always
(C) 1989
"I Don't Always" is a love ballad, which admits that although most men are flawed and can't live up to the "knight in shining armor" image that their sweethearts hoped they would be, they're still able to love a woman with all their heart and soul.

God Sent an Angel
(C) 2003
As most of us do from time to time, I was reviewing some times in my life that I probably should not have survived, and this song was born... with a surprise ending. I had to practice it many, many times before I was able to perform it without breaking down. Too close to home, I guess.
This one is a track on our latest album, "For God, Country and Family"

1. Keep on the Sunny Side
2. God Sent an Angel
3. Someone is Looking for Someone Like You
4. On My Father's Side

Satan Doesn't Have a Prayer
(C) 2003
My sad thought while watching all the violence and hopelessness that was the news on TV one night was "We just don't have a prayer". But the thought was almost immediately reversed, and I thought "No, that's not right. We DO have a prayer. The only one who doesn't have a prayer, is Satan." What a comforting thought that is!
It's the title song on our "Satan Doesn't Have a Prayer" album.
Tracks:
1. Satan Doesn't Have a Prayer
2. Where Could I Go But to the Lord
3. Testify
4. Jesus is the Answer Every Time
5. Life's Railway to Heaven

I'll Keep Singing
(C) 2002
I owe this one to a former pastor who asked us to come up with a "sing-a-long" song to get the congregation involved on a family night at church. I didn't know any songs that would fit, so I wrote this one, and taught it to the congregation that night. It was quite well received, so here it is as a track on our "For God, Country and Family" album. The tracks are listed above with another song ("God Sent an Angel") from this same album.
